1970	Ian made me assistant librarian. I love books so I am looking forward to the job.
1972	Sat on ink thanks to Ian and ruined a pair of pants. Haysons where we chatted on the porch, had chow and discussed rock 'n roll. They brought out their albums. Played Scrabble until midnight while listening to Goons records.
1975	Everest brought over 3 professional entertainers (Tony and Gloria and Luis Fernadez) to check out the Electronic Rhythm Composer on my Kenwood Jumbo.
1980	Su - Spent morning looking at ads in the huge Sunday paper. Brought kids to Toy City where Town's bought David a couple trucks and Ne got a kitchen sink.
1983	W - No sleep, alarm didn't go off and was woken by Aryln at the door at 6:15AM. Got called in for a SOC7 on MiscMed and that cancelled our first bridge night with Greens.
1997	Su - Whites to visit with Noriyo and learn more about Japan. Watched Fiji win 7's World Cup over an excellent Villa Maria '96 Gerwurztraminer.
1999	T - Dawn brought Nori over for a visit.
2002	Ian took me on a walk along Pukeware Road. Gail and I went to the "nigger box" for an evening with Doug, Marcia and Brundell sipping a dry '96 Terosa Pinot Noir and then a Drylands Reisling with the lasgne meal.
2003	Su - Bulldogs game with E/R/C. Warriors won but it was a nailbiter to the end, 24-20. Russell parked about a block away in a business parking lot (not used on Sundays). Two cars in lot next to us were broken into and stereo gear removed. Luckily, Russell has an old beater with an ordinary radio.
2008	Gail dropped me off at Russell's where I waited half an hour (he was removing 23m of grafitti from trains). Dean joined us for the first Warriors game. We beat Paramatta 30 - 16 with a raging Vatuvei all over the place. Read match report at Worriers. Owen and family were also there. We tried the opposite exit and sat in one spot for 20 minutes.
2012	F - OSV Salon called and asked if I had made an appointment for a haircut - I wonder if that is a hint from mgmt. Looked at sheets (percale, eh?) in Farmers in MCC (mostly staffed by Indians). My favorite Burger King in Papaptoetoe for Outlaws. Checked out expanded Slyvia Park. Bought a Goofy keychain at Surprizes and Candy from Japan Mart. Bev's for TP. Gail to Emery's and I went to Russell's. He and I watched a couple league games until 3:15AM.
2013	Sa - Russell and I played three games of petanque. Then cribbage games with Gail.
2018	F - Brought in scrap metal and aluminium cans for for $41.20. Weeded back gardens - feijoas falling.
2020	M - Murray of Ultra Fast took a few hours to get our fibre going. Had to do a line up into the attic to the phone line in the kitchen. I spent the rest of the day getting our devices talking to the new modem. And yes, speed and quality has improved.
2021	T - Doctor thinks my butt/leg pain is claudication.
