Happy Birthday Ann E  Ian was jigsawing his money while in England. It was a gaming night and much dispute involved. The terms "Carg" and "yacht" are not in Yahztzee but rather are names of similar games. And I was right in that Risk has 3 red and two white dice, not six as the card stated! We also had a Scrabble question. Meanwhile, back in Manurewa mice are living in Paul's car. Ian was correct in that Beaumont worked with Fletcher and not Shakespeare. enlarge

Happy Birthday Bev (photo). Ian is back in Godzone and Gail is heading offshore next week. Mike now has multiple tumours in his head. We had "Kiwi As" Sour cream with a dash of Kaitaia Fire potato chips, and yes, in keeping with tradition, they were spilt. Quinton seemed to haunt John. enlarge

Australia is Spanish for "Southern Land". I'll give Miss X a big apology for doubting her gemology expertise. Its seems tourmaline and maybe even peridot are actually real ones, right up there with one that sounds like Gail, malachite (Malley cheat). enlarge

Paul reports that the cancer is spreading - not unexpected. Hopefully, it will be slowed down with treatments. Irene's mother's favorite song is "Artificial Flowers" (By Bobby Darin). Miss X had good news with Whitcoull's survival. Gail and Ann are not going to Niue, but to Alaska. enlarge

Happy Birthday Mikie (photo) We got an update on Paul's medical history - so many doctors and visits and one big runaround. Ann E gave us too much detail of her belly problems. Ian sends us a kiss on each cheek from Italy. You know - where Rome is. Where that outfit is that allowed Catholics to eat fish on Fridays beginning on Sept 5, 1966, eh Gail? enlarge

Paget's Disease

Nyx or Nox

Was an interesting game without colors being called out. It was played chambré. We have decided that in future we will each write down our goal for playing the game and then how we plan on going about achieving that goal. Once teams are formed each team will then do the same for the group. If there is any time left we will then play the game. Each team and member will email the TP secretary bird the results for the evening and analyze how they did and what they will do in the future to improve performance. When was the last time you saw Rupert being chased by an array of hedgehogs? enlarge

Happy Birthday Gail. Mike got a haircut and was upset that Miss X didn't notice last week. Ian says: "Don't give your teddy bear a haircut". Don't confuse OZ magazine with The Ecospasm Report. Malley was a coughing sensation, even with da Man's special finger configuration. How High's the River? When the Boat Comes In.

Happy Birthday Irene who is predicting a good year at school despite new HOD. Mike is predicting a good year at home despite not knowing who is paying his mortgage. Miss X is predicting chaos at work due to the receivership. Russell is probably predicting that the Warriors will win everything. John is predicting that there will be cancer in the beehive, or is it beehive in the cancer? enlarge
