5 Nov	MH Genus IV	MH JNM GM RH AE	Tiddas, anyone? Puff pH	Russell back from wet Melbourne. Mike has a bandage on his tumor. Gail has one on her leg (along with seven stitches). For some reason, she hates "yellow". RKO is not the same as Radio City Music Hall but that is where the RKO films were played in NYC - throw in The Rockettes, and you can see why John was confused. We were are a bit peckish. Britain has 14 territories while France has 11, but winner is the USA with 16!!!!.	Winners	Floater	Losers

We also had chocolate covered prunes!! Miss X has been given an "all clear" for her latest checkup. Russell gone for Melbourne Cup - its a horse race or something, eh. Ian was a stick in the mud and called his sister to wish her "Happy Birthday" who wasn't able to help with the Lada question. John read Meet Babar and His Family (photo of Renee as Babar). James flew in from OZ for the game as he felt we needed his good looks. Bev, who doesn't get out much, brought along Hot Cinnamon candy. The seemed to be some concern that the floater was a bit one-sided. Karen came very late and wanted to know the center of m e gravity. New ceilings, new paint on walls and after some difficulty a new light bulb installed. The game was a good one which finished in a disputed tie. We should've had a roll off using a backgammon doubling cube, eh?

Emery wants to know who invented the skateboard. I think Wiki has left off my favorite theory: take a scooter and remove vertical stick. Apparently Plato invented the : but Wikipedia doesn't mention it. It is a pause that is slightly longer than a semi-colon and shorter than a full-stop (period). Joe Black never won a Purple Heart. Gail is flying to the States and Colleen to Australia, so maybe they should read this report on the hijacking of Egyptian plane that ended on Malta. Listen to Puha and Pakeha by Rod Derrett.
