June 18, 2005. To Papakura at 4PM (rain stopped just as I left) and Russell drove us to Hamilton where we attended the Eels - Warriors game jammed in (Gail would have had difficulty making her moves in small seats) with 17,000 others at the beautiful Waikato Stadium. We got food at KFC and I got a box of dougnuts, which we eren;talloed to tbring into the stadium. So we wolfed most of them down. Caught second half of a local game, then Aunt B (a local Tina Turner imitator) did a song before I was blown away by Mark Williams doing a great live Show No Mercy. The Parramatta cheerleaders were stunning (pass me the binoculars, Ann) and extremely good. Warriors got off to a 10 - 0 lead only to collapse and fall behind at half. Da Heimo performed "Ride" at half time. There was no rain but fog filled the stadium and made the ride back a slow one - especially after the 28-18 loss to the Eels.
