1960	Mama and Daddy took us to Hiedleberg for dinner. Signe, Debbie, Terri, Georgie, Linda, Kathy came to Angi's party. I wore bermudas for the first time and was in charge of games. Mama gave Angi an organ.
1961	High = 73°F. Gene Vohs and Glen brought Gaustad, Norm, Franson, Lyle, Gary, Larry Vohs and me (bowling league) to the Twins game (lost 2 - 8 to Baltimore). Luxury Lanes for prizegiving and I, as captain, received "Last Place Team" certificate. Open bowling. Angi's party and I gave Angi a Clue game.
1968	Kincy on leave from Army with a broken arm. Went to Steve's where Kincy and Bill came over for a Night Owls reunion. We went to Comanche [ed. - drive-in].
1978	Th - Brokedown at school - just started crying in Period 3 for no reason. Barry let me go home. Gail brought me to Purvis who was upset that Mills had me on a sedative. Gave me a script for Prothiaden.
1980	Su - Chuck, David and I fished on the lake (Milles Lacs) for a couple hours. David's first time ever. I had a couple nibbles and Chuck caught a small walleye. After lunch I joined the kids in the lake, I was able to walk out for about 200 yards. Let David have a last go at shooting his air rifle and then we hit the road at 5:30PM getting back to mom's at 8PM. Chuck called Ne "the little girl" and David was "the boy".
1983	W - Took shots in school gym with Jeff and others. The coach, Steve Lurtsma and I stood the boys. The old men won 2 out of 3 and was I tired. Gwen left on her own and then Ne left. When David and I got back to Hansen's no Ne, so Gail took off in the car and Kay on a bike the rest on foot. We all converged on her about two blocks away. She was in tears and very scared. Left after lunch. Checked out Minneopa (double waterfall and nice campgrounds) and Sukata (had a picnic at the lake) State Parks on drive home. Schwitters brought our mail over. 1985	Sa - Lyndsey Dunn, the Ag man and the container both arrived around 9AM. Together with Kevin and Timmy's help we unloaded the thing in the rain in about 1½ hours. Gave out beers at the end and the big Maori took the last 3 cans as he left with a big thanks. Trish and Doug came with cookies to see how we were doing. Spent whole day unpacking, setting up beds and making room for bikes in garage. Took a chunk out of my right pointer finger when putting the mirror unto Ne's dressor.
1988	Picked up tickets and documents from Green's. They booked the car at Melbourne for 10 days, not three; bought the Expo tickets and booked us into first class accommodation which explains the $700 above estimate. Brought mice, TV and VRC to Aldersons. Cabbie along and he loved it.
1989	Went to Hashbrown Factory for Ian's farewell. A lot of rubbishing of Leszek for his Polishness
1991	Whites came at 6:30PM. We went to see The Share Club by Roger Hall at George Hawkins Centre, which had John Crawford (stitled performance) and Paula Middleton in it. Susi laughed more than anyone else. We played bridge before and after the play with a dry Trovador rosé.
1992	Middlemore's Gastroenterology Unit where Dr Henson (from Denver) took a couple pieces of my colon for examination. Mike called to say that he really enjoys the Kiwi Quiz game that I gave him.
1996	Sa - Gail and I went to Sanders for a meal with the Joneses. Had an excellent Preece '95 cabsav and a good Rosemount '95 shiraz/cab.
1997	Su - Dale and Roy over for a cuppa and visit. Gustavo and Gene came to farewell Ve.
2002	Malleys' Moab Trip.
2003	Emery's and onto Ericcson Stadium where the Warriors beat 1st place Canberra. Down 16-18 at half they held the Raiders scoreless and won 26-18. Gail and I went to wish Ian a "happy" and have cake and coffee. Gave him a leather hat.
2006	After supper Gail and I brought wine glasses and a bottle to Ian. Ian Hendry was there getting Ian to bring up a birthday card he had recieved (fart animation).
2007	Watched Warriors 54 - Panthers 14 with a fantastic try by McKinnon.
2008	Went to the Warriors game with Ann and Russell. Given Warriors banners. They were ahead with 8 minutes to go only to lose 20 - 14 to the first place Manly Seaeagles. What could have been a great game was marred by many fumbles, so Russell was quite upset.
2011	W - Had prostate biopsy done. After supper we spent evening with Trish chatting between TV shows.
2013	Sa - David and I played a couple games of petanque and tried an end with eyes shut (I did well).
2014	Su - Listened to the Twins beat Chicago 5 - 4 on a Dozier walk-off hit. Watched Warriors with an orange-haired Manu beat Broncos (highlights).
2019	Sa - Ne over at 2PM and we played Alhambra. Nandos periperi chicken for supper. We played Terraforming and had to do a restart. David just can't get the hang of it. He and I played a few games of Pigmania.
2022	W - email from Senad after two years with photo in his work uniform. Walked to Farm Street for my annual diabetes checkup - Hba1C = 5.0 which is very good. Found 20¢ ($13) on way home. Listened to the Twins 3 - Seattle 2 while painting Bescomi portrait.
