1960	State High Scool Basketball Tournament: Edgerton 63 eliminated the favorite Richfield 60 (Davis had 28).
1972	Suva with Whites and Farasika. Dropped the boys off with Sister DePaulus, Susi's sister, at Home of Compassion. Had to crawl in through a window since key is broken in lock.
1975	TV1 news.
1978	Sa - Pendergasts over for supper with adopted daughter, Annabelle.
1980	T - Kids made their first snowman. Banks won't give us a VISA card blaming Carter. Dick's Union 76 station where he showed us how to use the pump (15¢/gal cheaper if you pump yourself). Dick and Estelle over for supper.
1985	M - 24 people came to my farewell lunch at Otto's. I was given a $100(!) treasury note. Chris gave me a red t-shirt which says "COSMO-stpaul-ITAN" (card). Mary R gave me a copy of a PC program that draws a naked lady. Telegram from Leighton asking when we will arrive, so I phoned him and said "Who knows?" Mary Johnson called to say that the mortgage was returned and they want a letter from buyer's employer saying that he won't be laid off again. So now maybe the house isn't sold, or the closing date may be moved. Helped Rollie move our wood scraps over for him to burn. Let Tom test drive the car.	Chris Mary
1988	Ritchie and after 11 weeks, still no glasses (he had taken my current ones so new lenses could be made for the frame - told him I wanted something (old ones or new) in one week. Visited Aldies and had a Brookes wine cooler.
1989	Waingaro with Whites and Kaitanis. Through Huntly and coal mines. Very crowded. Had lunch and then two hours in the big pool. Lots of fun with Tracy, Trisha, Ne and Matthew who tried the log many times (video). Even Susi got into the water. Short soak in the hot pool then it was slide time. Ian put on a good show and had the Fijians and Granny in laughter. Long drive back via Highway 22.
1992	Middlemore for X-Rays of kidneys and back (part of many tests to find what ails me).
1995	Gail and I went to Karioitahi. Excellent - warm water. Small waves but good rides. Whites for supper and slides.
1997	T - School early to meet Noriyo and Kirisyo girls. Brought Noriyo to meet Dawn McIntyre. Noriyo gave me a kokeshi made by parents at her school. Yuki and Che were dressed in mufti and they joined their classmates who were in school uniform for a visit to Auckland sites.
1998	W - Joyce sent us the Bechyn film roll which was found under a bed at Wandersee's.
2003	Clark's for first session with Alex - on area and volume, and we decided I would help her with "thinking" approach to solving problems. Their house burgled and same day Mike's car and phone stolen at work. Sophie turned down a couple spots on "Mercy Peak" as she couldn't get off from librarian job. Sandy has her first commission - paint something for a laundry room she doesn't know if she should be insulted or not.
2005	Gail and I went to Needham's for Bob's 60th. Gave him the 20 year old Canadian Mist. Met Les and Shirley, Rex and Gail. Roger (great story teller and entertainer) and Rosemary joined us for a lovely luncheon with a very good Montana '03 Merlot CabSav.
2007	I went to the Warriors. Saw Pita Sharples on the way into Mt Smart stadium. Che Fu sang prior to the game. Was a very entertaining match with non-stop action. We came out on top 24-14 over the Broncos, scoring all their points in the first half. Russell fell from a scaffold earlier today. Match report at Worriers.
2009	Classic form from district nurse stating that Gail's wound had healed as of 10 March! In to see Gail at hospital after operation on that "healed" wound.
2012	Su - Gail picked me up at Russell's and shopping at Countdown (fellow ahead bought $360 and let us use our One Card for the points). Minis where we were joined by Ian and Susi, Tracy and Leon. Dominion before and after a meal. Left at 4:40PM. Stopped at Waihi Beach to checkout Top Ten.
2023	Sa - email from Ong (been 20 years since I heard from her). Watched Zulu Dawn (last saw it at Lundholms 40 years ago on a LP sized video disc - before DVD's were invented.
